Robert
(Bob) A. Bell
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Since 1996, R. Bell has been Chief Financial Officer of Maloney and Bell
General Contractors, Inc. of California. Previously, Mr. Bell was owner of
Maloney and Bell General Contractors, Inc. – from 1981 through 1996.
Mr. Bell has guided the company through the construction of shopping
centers, medium rise steel and concrete offices, banks, industrial
buildings, garden office buildings and numerous retail buildings for
national and local retailers.
After acquiring a commercial property maintenance company in 1998, with
Mike Blixt and Steve Kuhs, Mr. Bell oversees the company’s new division,
CPMC – Commercial Property Maintenance Construction, with offices in
Sacramento and Reno.

MICHAEL C. BLIXT
PRESIDENT
Company President Mike Blixt has more than 30 years commercial
construction experience, both in the field and in administration.
Leadership is natural to Mike, and is exemplified by his successful
presidency at Maloney and Bell, and his Year 2000 positions as president
of the Mather / Perkins Rotary and of the Sacramento Builders’ Exchange.
Since the year 2000, Mike has acted as Project Manager for all of Maloney
and Bell’s hospital and other healthcare construction projects for the
University of California, Davis, Medical Center and for various Catholic
Healthcare West hospitals.
Prior to that, Mike’s hands-on experience, rising through the ranks from carpenter
apprentice, gave him a chance to hone his deep understanding of commercial
construction and his leadership skills, as he eventually managed
construction projects for national retail companies such as:
Ross Stores Inc., the good guys!, K-Mart, Home Express,
Wells Fargo, First Interstate, and
American Savings
His background also includes the building, remodeling and renovating of
schools, industrial buildings, hotels, office buildings, communication
facilities, a radio station and retail shopping centers.

STEVEN C. KUHS
VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
Vice President of Operations Steve Kuhs has more than 15 years of
commercial construction experience. With a degree in Construction
Management, Steve has managed construction projects for:
National retail accounts
Shopping centers
Grocery stores
Medical office facilities
Healthcare facilities
Restaurants
Design-build industrial/warehouse facilities
Small and large scale tenant
improvements
Build to suit office buildings
His experience also includes community development construction in Chico,
CA with the design and construction of a three thousand acre planned
community, including three lakes, all supporting infrastructure, an
eighteen hole PGA golf course, a commercial zone, condominiums and a
retirement community.
For more than four years, Steve worked directly for a major retail
company, constructing their high profile facilities and special projects.
Having experienced the perspective of both sides – that of the
construction company and that of the owner – he is certainly well suited
to oversee all of the major construction projects performed by Maloney and
Bell.
