After Maloney and Bell relocated the Radiology Department and all of their equipment into another area, the vacated space was completely rebuilt to accommodate an entirely new Cardiac Cath Lab Suite. These photos represent Cath Lab #2 and its control room. In addition to the installation of new medical equipment, this project featured new cabinetry and beautiful glass sliding doors to provide easy access to the support-equipment ‘closet’.
The scope of this project, as a whole, included two Cath Labs, one control room for both labs, a patient recovery room, a scrub area, a reading room for viewing digital results, three offices, two employee locker rooms/bath rooms with showers, an equipment/storage room, a nurses station, a reception desk and a patient /family waiting area.
