Description
Maloney and Bell was the successful low bidder for this fast-track Bixby Hall Interior Renovation project for the University of California, Davis Campus. The project involved extensive remodeling of the 5 story, 40 year old dormitory building.
Scope included the complete demolition and renovation of all restrooms; extensive abatement of asbestos and lead; new T-bar ceilings on the 1st Floor; a complete upgrade of the electrical, heating and cooling systems; and new doors, hardware and painting throughout.
This project, valued at nearly $2 million, was completed successfully within the very short period of time that students were out of the building for summer break.
